Thermoplastic Natural Rubber- TPNR 

Agprene TPNR is a physical blend of natural rubber with polyolefin such as isostatic polypropylene or high density polyethylene (HDPE). Compatibility and continuity of the plastic and rubber phase is attained through control of parameters and additives.

TPNR blends covers a broad class of materials and so it covers several distinct type of hardness. TPNR used in place of conventional rubber which is very economical. TPNR does not require compounding as well as vulcanization. Scrap and reject material can be reused without significant loss in properties. It also achieves higher production rate than conventional rubber.

• Low temperature flexibility and high softening point.
• High impact strength at low temp.
• Resistance to aqueous solutions.

• Lower density then PVC, TPV.
• Lower production cost then conventional rubber.

• Replacement of high modules vulcanized rubbers in products where high resilience and strength are not important.
• Replacement of flexible plastics such as PVC, EVA, LDPE and TPO.
• Replacement of PP when better impact strength is required.
